Sweet, Sweet Summertime.

I'm reintroducing myself back to the blog world with my TOP 5 fave moments of this sweet, sweet summertime, ya know, just in case you weren't a part of them. oopsies poopsie.

5. We Moved!  The parents built a lovely new house (and they're letting me live there, thanks!)

4. Weekend Getaway to West Yellowstone Idaho Falls.

My bestie Jack was performing up at the Playmill in West Yelly and I escaped for a weekend getaway to visit him.  We stayed in IF and we had some magically fun moments. hmph. sounds weird. whateva.

3. Hostessing Awesome Parties. 

That sounds like I'm saying, "oh look how cool I am and what I did"... which is exactly right!  I had soo much fun planning these parties (with help, natch) and celebrating some wonderful events.

What better way to prepare for marriage than a Downton Abbey Tea Party Bridal Shower?  I only wish Mr. Crawley had shown up to the party. and Mr. Bates. and Lord Grantham. blnt (better luck next time, duh.)  

Also.  We're sooooo excited to welcome little Rock Star Richmond into the world!!  He's going to be a major stud.  AND we had a coed baby shower which means this baby is going to be dressed to dazzle everyday of his life.  Why?  Check out my hottie male friends in the photo below! 

  This will be the future DVD cover of our reality TV show (Seacrest! Helllllo!)

**B to the T to the W.  I'm thinking I should've been a party planner!  What was I thinking?  (If any of you are interested I will gladly let  borrow you my stuff (for a small charge .... and by small I mean negotiable cost) and come set up stuff for parties.  Let me know. *shameful plug for my I-wish-this-were-my-occupation*)

2. Performing in a Musical Again! 

I took a 6 year retirement and the stage surely has missed me!  I could think of no better time to make my return to the stage than in a show made up of almost all my bestie's.  It was magical.  And sparkly (see costumes below) and FUN.  And showy, duh.  I think it lit the I-need-to-perform-more fire under my butt.  

 

1. DISNEYLAND. 

Again, almost all of my bestie's in the happiest place on earth?  You guys.  It cannot get better than disney and bestie's.  We did have a bunch of youth with us that we were chaperoning.. they didn't make it into the pictures, at least the ones posted here. (we did chaperone! promise.)

honorary mentions: 

*Flash Mobbing in the middle of Jaclyn's Wedding Luncheon.  HILARIOUS. No pictures of this... but a video that's sure to go viral (if I ever see it.)

*Beth's wedding in Mesa.  I love this mission companion and reminded her husband that, "I was her companion first." (and he better not forget it.)

Consider Fall 2012 kicked off... 

Just a little road tripping to West Yelly + Island Park with my Mannie friends to see Jack (again, lucky dude!).

  some times I like the wilderness.  This is a big achievement, folks!

I wish I had turned my gun sideways in this one... like a gangsta.  Look at my mouth! It says "what up G"
