it seems like i buy all the supplies to craft projects and then throw them under my bed never to be seen again.
here are the rules for crafting w/ craghead:
1. must take less than 2 hours to create
2. must be able to craft while watching a tv show like the voice or x-factor.
3. must not require 177352 zillion coats of paint. it.just.won't.happen.
4. i cannot craft in the middle of planning/throwing a party/bridal shower/baby shower, etc.
the bottom line: time is money. i have more money than i have
i've been in search of a hat rack forrrrrrever. i've searched online, in stores, at the D.I. but i couldn't find one that i liked, that wasn't $69.99 (or more) or find one at all.
on a whim i went to the D.I. and there this was:
step one: spray paint it.
but i paused to admire this and gather up my hat rack because a storm was a brewin':
i bought some little canisters on sale at target for the bathroom to put cotton balls, q-tips and whatever else in them. 3 of them for $15. perfect! only the started to drive my crazy because they weren't clear. and i have sort of been aching to get on the make-something-in-your-house-a-chalkboard-trend. so chalkboard it is.
the only step in this project was to paint the lid with the chalkboard paint. easy enough.
and voila! cute little chalkboard canister's:
and that concludes crafting w/ craghead.
